Confession Is Good For The Soul

Yep... they say that confession is good for the soul. So it's time that I came out of the closet. Yep... I've decided that the time is finally right to come totally clean.

Oh... no... not THAT closet... for more years than I can remember I've written that I originally got interested in astrology based on my studies of the depth psychology of Dr Carl G Jung, MD.

Strange but true, it was (in large part) my studies of Jung's writings that eventually led directly to my current interest and expertise in the subject of Western Tropical Astrology.

Good grief... in my studies I'd discovered that the Swiss psychiatrist Carl G Jung was fascinated with the paranormal in general, conducted and published astrological experiments, constantly made referrals to astrological symbolism in his elucidation of archetypal material and the psyche, arranged to have the astrological charts of his patients calculated, and finally that he devoted an entire volume of his Collected Works, Aion, to the deeper meaning behind of the astrological Age of Aquarius...

So don't get me wrong... it's all true... as far it goes...

However the second untold part of the story - as to how I initially got interested in astrology - is that I had started dating a woman... a woman that kept a copy of Linda Goodman's Love Signs at the head of her bed. (Does this sound at all familiar to any other guys out there?)

Anyway... say what you want to and say what you will about Linda Goodman and/or Sun Sign astrology... but the woman had an incredible imagination, was a prolific writer with an engaging writing style, and she has single handedly introduced several generations of women to astrology (and, indirectly, several generations of guys).
