Since
September 11, 2001, the 25 million dollar question has been "where's Osama Bin Laden?" At
the same time - since September 11, 2001 - it's been my stated
intent that I
will not be openly discussing any astrological interpretations
as to the timing of events and/or other matters that might inadvertently
cause harm in the current international situation.
It's
now, however, become common knowledge during the past several
days
that the USA's search for Osama Bin Laden is now focusing on
the immediate area in and around Jalalabad, Afghanistan. Witnesses
have now come forward claiming to have recently seen him in
the city of Jalalabad.
So
what I briefly share here is in no way
violating my intentions of remaining silent on sensitive matters.
Astro-mapping
In one form or another, for the past several thousand years,
astrologers have been using what are now commonly called "astro-mapping" techniques
when looking at world events. Soon after the September 11 Tragedy,
I decided to cast an astro-map event chart set for the first
strike of the World Trade Towers in Manhattan, NY that occurred
at 8:46 am EDT.
At
the time, it seemed a no brainer that Pluto, the planet most
immediately associated with the archetype of
terrorism, would somehow be symbolically involved in this
tragic event.
So,
when looking at a world astro-map, my eyes were immediately
drawn to the (relatively speaking) small stretch
of inhabited land where at the time of the attack Pluto was
located on the Midheaven. (see below - denoted by the red
line).
Osama Bin Laden and the al-Qaida
As the first hours and days passed after the September 11 Tragedy,
it quickly became clear that Osama Bin Laden and the al-Qaida
were considered to be the chief suspects. It further came to
light that Bin Laden was thought to be hiding somewhere within
the borders of Afghanistan.
Upon
looking at a smaller astro-map of Afghanistan, my eyes were
immediately drawn to the major
city of Jalalabad over which the Pluto/Midheaven line seemed
to pass so very closely (see below - denoted by the red line).
It's
my belief that from the very beginning Jalalabad, Afghanistan
has been
the primary area of focus in the USA's search for Osama
Bin Laden. Based on various news reports currently being released,
I further believe that much of the international press was aware
of the strong possibility that Bin Laden was hiding out in the
Jalalabad area.
If
this is correct, then the press should be given a huge vote
of thanks for having shown Herculean restraint
and keeping silent on the matter. Whether Bin Laden will ultimately
be found hiding out in a cave in the Jalalabad area is now
anyone's best guess. Does astrology "work?" You bet it does.

2006:
All of the above was later found to be fundamentally correct,
and as we all know Bin Laden was able to slip away and
for
now
remains at
large.
Bin
Laden
is thought to have most recently been living in comfort
in a villa located in Pakistan's mountainous
Chitral
district,
close
to
its border
with Afghanistan. So much for Pakistan's "friendship."
