Horary Oracle - Ask Horary a Question

Dr Z's StarryMart features the most reasonable Horary prices on the Internet. If you like Tarot, then you'll love Horary!

Please Note: Due to the nature of Horary, chances are very strong that Dr Z will need to contact you to clarify your Horary question. Please... please... please... read all of the boring information below to make sure Horary is right for you and to greatly reduce the need for Dr Z to clarify your Horary question.

Ask Dr Z A Yes or No Horary Question
Find out if you should move, travel, or make changes! Find out if you should quit your present job, and take the new one being offered. Should you make that important phone call or keep your mouth shut?

Ask Dr Z a single Horary question that can be answered with a Yes or No - or ask a comparison question such as "Should I marry Frank or Harry?" "Should I choose this car or that car?"

Knowing your birth data and/or knowing your current circumstances is not necessary when using the ancient astrological art of the Horary Oracle. As an oracle... Horary is based on asking your question, and the synchronistic quality of the exact moment in time that your astrologer understands the "correct" question being asked. Horary answers simple Yes/No questions such as "Should I marry Frank?" Horary also answers comparison questions such as "Should I marry Frank or Harry?" "When buying a car, should I buy that practical ________ model or the sporty ________ model I've had my eye on.

Please note: As stated above, Dr Z limits his $29.95 Horary services to answering a single yes/no question or a single comparison question.

Yep! Horary can answer all sorts of questions. However, answering more complex questions takes up more time spent in evaluation. More time spent in evaluation typically equals more money charged.

Many astrologers offering full-blown Horary services start with a rock bottom minimum price of $50 for a one hour evaluation of one Horary chart question. Many astrologers will then begin adding on charges for extra time spent in evaluating the chart. If this is the case, then the astrologer will usually estimate in advance the expected time that will be spent on a particular question. Customers can often expect to spend $50, $100, or more when asking one Horary question. Dr Z is currently charging a mere $29.95 USD for evaluating a single yes/no or comparison question.

What Do You Get For Your Bucks?
Not much if you're hooked on receiving the reams of information normally contained in a computer generated report. Dr Z will personally look over the Horary chart, and then email you and tell you whether the answer to your Horary question is a strong yes, strong no, weak yes, weak no, about even (50/50), briefly address some of the possible pluses and/or minuses, and then if appropriate offer a suggestion as to what change of attitude on your part may be needed to improve the current circumstances surrounding your question. Granted, this doesn't make for reams of computer generated material or info. It could mean a very short paragraph.

Here's my best "guesstimation" of the breakdown by percentages:

  • 15% Strong Yes
  • 25% Mostly Yes
  • 20% Too close to call
  • 25% Mostly No
  • 15% Strong No

So dear one... if the answer to your Horary question falls in the Mostly No category, then my interpretation of this is that the Horary chart shows at this time, given current circumstances, it is likely that the answer will be No. If the answer to your Horary question falls in the Mostly Yes category, then my interpretation of this is that the Horary chart shows at this time, given current circumstances, it is likely that the answer will be Yes.

Complications
There are a couple of complications, though... (there's always a catch, isn't there?) These complications, then require special instructions when asking a Horary question.

First complication:

Clarifying Your Question... Don't be lazy and/or haphazard when wording your question!

What that means is that you need to be very specific and wordsmith your question very carefully. Like all Oracles, the Horary Oracle can be more than a wee bit playful, vague, and naughty in that it will only answer the specific question that is asked. Yep! Horary's answer depends upon you knowing the exact question that you honestly wish to ask, and then astrologer (in this case Dr Z) understanding the question being asked.

The Oracle of Horary's answer will only be as straightforward and honest as you were when asking and wording of the question. Only by asking the real question that's on your mind will you get the real answer.

Being as specific as possible about the real question and your real motives is vitally important. (Frankly, Dr Z is able to be more objective when evaluating your question, when he doesn't know anything about you and/or the background of your question. But, if you are in doubt about the clarity and/or precision of your question, then provide a little extra background information surrounding the question.)

Some Other Considerations In Clarifying Your Question:

  • If your question doesn't properly identify "who" you are asking about, then Dr Z will need to email you in order to clarify the Horary question. For example: "Will he ask me out for a date?" "Will he and I become romantically involved?" The Horary Oracle needs to know "who" he is in relation to you. Is the magical "he" a coworker, a friend, a friend's brother, your boss, a new person with whom you have no relationship, etc.

On the other hand, the "who" in some questions is quite simple and needs no further clarification. An example of this might be: "Should I stay with my wife?" or "Should I stay with my husband?" Unless you're simultaneously married to two different people at the same time, then Horary knows "who" you're asking about.
"Will I inherit from my uncle?" Again, the Horary Oracle needs to know "who" your uncle is in relation to you. In this case, the Horary Oracle needs to know if your uncle is from your mother's side of the family (mother's brother) or your father's side of the family (father's brother).
  • "Will a career in you fill in the blank be successful?" Hmmm... what exactly do you mean by "successful?" Are you primarily concerned with monetary "success" or does successful mean becoming famous or does success mean you fill in the blank? Also, is this career something you're currently pursuing or do you currently have a different career?
  • "Should I marry my boyfriend?" is a different question than "Will I marry my boyfriend?" Always be careful about using the word "should" in your question. (Read the Horary FAQs to better underunderstand the ramifications of asking "Should I.") However, if it applies - then use it. Also, what's your primary motivation, concern, and/or issue? "Should I marry my boyfriend for financial security (money)" is different than "should I marry my boyfriend for love?"
  • "Should I acquire this house?" is a different question than "should I buy this house?" Buying means money is involved. Also, is the house you wish to acquire or buy going to be your primary residence or are you buying it as an investment and will not be living in it.

Second complication: A Horary question is a question where the person asking the question really wants to know and is personally vested in the outcome of the question. Casual curiosity is not enough. It is the serious interest and intent of the questioner that allows a Horary astrologer to correctly interpret the Horary chart. For example, Horary will not answer the question of "will Team 1 or Team 2 win the Super Bowl," unless you happen to be the owner of Team 1 or Team 2.

Third complication: Please note: Dr Z does not answer Horary questions of a medical nature. Yep! Horary can answer medical questions. However, Dr Z has chosen not to answer medical questions of a medical nature. This is to protect Dr Z on a very litigious, sue crazy planet. Sorry, but absolutely no exceptions will be made. Please see your physician for medical advice.
